This policy explains what personal data SimbaBiz LP collects when you visit simbabiz.com or contact us, why we collect it and what rights you have.

Who we are

SimbaBiz LP ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. We are a limited partnership registered in England and Wales, registration number LP024156, with our registered office at 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom. What we collect

• When you contact us by email, phone or the contact form: your name, email address, company name if you give it, and whatever you write in your message.
• When you visit the website: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time, to keep the site running and secure.
• Cookies: this website uses only cookies that are needed for it to work. If we start using analytics, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To operate and protect the website. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
• If you become a client, to keep records we are required to keep by law, such as accounting records.

We don't use your data for automated decision-making, and we don't sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract:

• Website hosting and site builder: Tilda Publishing
• Domain and email hosting: Namecheap (Private Email)

We may also share data with professional advisers, or with authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. When they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client records: for as long as we need them to deliver the work, and afterwards for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
• Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. To make a request, email director@simbabiz.com. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Apps

This policy covers simbabiz.com only. Each app on the App Store has its own privacy policy, linked from the app's App Store page.
